Welcome to Christogenea.

Why did ancient Egypt, once the greatest of all nations, crumble into oblivion, where it has remained for 3,000 years? What happened to the glory of ancient Babylonia, or to Assyria? Where is the splendour of the ancient Persians, or the Medes, or Parthia? How have the Greeks, the pinnacle of ancient civilization, not produced anything of note as a culture since the fall of Byzantium nearly 600 years ago? What happened to the might and the majesty that was Rome, once far greater than them all? How, or why, have all of these once magnificent cultures for so long been little more than quarries for museum relics? America, and all of Christian Civilization, is now following in the footsteps of these ancient empires. It's absolutely true. The evidence is all around you. History does indeed repeat itself, again and again because people refuse to learn from it. But there is a solution.

You can deny it. You can rant and rave. You can scream. You can cry "hate" and utter blasphemies. You can make railing accusations. But you can't change the truth. A shining city on a hill cannot be hid. A lamp when lit is not placed under a couch. There is indeed a God of all creation. And there is indeed a race anointed by that God. Here it is identified. Whenever that race allows itself to amalgamate with others, it falls into permanent decay. Understanding this is one of the keys to all history, and it is the understanding of the rise and fall of all great cultures. You can go away mad, even spouting profanities, or you can face the reality, and consider the implications while investigating the assertions being made. Use the navigation menu above, or if you are new to this site, ENTER HERE to begin examining the evidence!

A Christogenea commentary On the Gospel of John has recently been completed. Many passages simply do not say what the modern churches think they mean! Don't miss this important and ground-breaking work proving that Christian Identity is indeed fully supported by Scripture.

Don't miss our ongoing series of podcasts The Protocols of Satan, which presents many historical proofs that the infamous Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion are real, and that they have been fulfilled in history by the very same people who dispute their authenticity. Our companion series, The Jews in Medieval Europe, helps to explain how the Protocols have been fulfilled.

Our recent Pragmatic Genesis series explains the Bible from a Christian Identity perspective which reconciles both Old and New Testaments with history and the political and social realities facing the Christian people of Yahweh God today.

A Commentary on the Epistles of Paul has recently been completed at Christogenea.org. This lengthy and in-depth series reveals the true Paul as an apostle of God, a prophet in his own right, and the first teacher of what we call Christian Identity.

Being on a road trip which has kept us much busier than we could have anticipated, this evening we decided to host another Open Forum. Here we discussed certain heresies which have been introduced into some supposedly Christian Identity circles, and the need for maintaining consistent fundamental principles in Biblical interpretation and in the formulation of sound Christian doctrine, among other things.

Thanks to all who participated, you certainly are appreciated. Praise Yahweh!

Here once again we continue our discussion of particular passages in Paul’s epistles where certain terms are either mistranslated or misunderstood, adversely affecting the interpretation of the Scriptures throughout the New Testament. Due to the nature and purpose of Paul’s writings there are more of these than there are in all of the other New Testament Scriptures.

45 continued) Specific NT Verse misteachings, mistranslations or corruptions in the epistles of Paul

Discussing the epistle to the Galatians, we hope to have demonstrated that Paul’s language in chapters 3 and 4 of that epistle had purposely described the narrow the scope of the Gospel as being for one particular race of people, to the descendants of only one of the sons of Abraham as opposed to the other sons which Abraham had fathered. Doing that, Paul also identified that race of people, in part, where he told the Galatians that is was they who were under the law and who were therefore redeemed in Christ. Comparing our interpretation of Paul’s epistle to the words of the prophets, the two are in complete agreement, while the mainstream interpretations set Paul in absolute opposition to the prophets. By that we should know that our interpretation is true.

Who is Your Savior? A Review of a Sermon by Bertrand Comparet

Perhaps six or eight weeks ago, we learned of a group which claimed to be Christian Identity, but which has been led off into believing a Roman Catholic heresy which is called “trinity”, which is of course a word, and a concept, that is not found in Scripture. Some members of this group are, or were, also participants in Christogenea forums. So at first we addressed this by presenting a paper from Clifton Emahiser titled The Day The Word Became Flesh, and now we shall address it further by presenting a Bertrand Comparet sermon titled Who is Your Savior? Doing this, our main point is to show that traditional Identity Christians such as Comparet understood that the “trinity” heresy is incompatible with Biblical Christianity.

For many simple reasons, the Roman Catholic trinity heresy, and we will call it Roman Catholic because that is where it began, with the development of the Roman Catholic Church, is absolutely incompatible with what we call Covenant Theology, and therefore it is incompatible with our view of Christian Identity, as Identity is based on Covenant Theology. It is also idolatry, as it forms the One True God into three different persons, perverting the Biblical perception of elements of His Being into the image of man. The worst aspect of this is the Catholic claim that the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of God, somehow becomes a person separate from God the Father and His Christ, simply because of “love”. From here, the possibilities for continued sophistry and idolatry are endless.

But a critical foundation for understanding both Covenant Theology and the true nature of Yahshua Christ is an understanding of the relationship between Yahweh God and the children of Israel. When Yahweh took the children of Israel to Himself as a peculiar people, He was expressing His purpose to keep the promises to Abraham, and at the same time the collective people of Israel, the nation, was considered His bride. Thus we read in Isaiah chapter 54: “5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.” While there are many other witnesses to this concept in the Old Testament, this one should suffice here.

Being the Creator of Israel, Yahweh was also the Father, so from that perspective we read in Isaiah chapter 63 where, in a prophetic manner, the children of Israel are portrayed as saying: “16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.” Of course, this portrayal was made of a time future to Isaiah’s own, and it depicts the circumstances of the children of Israel in captivity, put off from God for their sins, which is the very reason they needed to be redeemed.

Here once again we continue our discussion of particular passages in Paul’s epistles where certain terms are mistranslated or misunderstood, and adversely affect the interpretation of the Scriptures throughout the New Testament. Due to the nature and purpose of Paul’s writings there are more of these than there are in all of the other New Testament Scriptures. And once again, while there are many more mistranslations in Paul than what we shall present here, we will only focus on those which concern nation, race and the scope and purpose of the Gospel.

45 continued) Specific NT Verse misteachings, mistranslations or corruptions in the epistles of Paul

So we covered much of Galatians chapter 3 in our last presentation, and in verses 15 through 18 we found that it was not Jews and Jesus which Paul was contrasting. That view is contrary to all the other statements of Paul as well as the promises of the prophets and the Gospel of Christ. Rather, Paul was comparing the seed of Jacob as the heirs of the promise in contradistinction to the seed of Esau, Ishmael and Abraham’s other sons. This agrees with all of Paul’s other statements concerning the seed and the promises, especially in Romans chapters 4 and 9.

But the main point proving our assertion beyond all reasonable doubt is three-fold, in Paul’s own words at Galatians 3:17 and Romans 4:18 and 9:7. In the first passage, Paul said “the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.” Then in the second passage he said that Abraham would “become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.” Finally, in Romans chapter 9 Paul defined the seed of the promise yet again and writing in reference to the promises to Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah in relation to Jacob and Esau he said “the children of the promise are counted for the seed.”

On the Wisdom of Solomon, Part 23: Arrogance and Humility

On the Wisdom of Solomon, Part 23: Arrogance and Humility

Discussing The Idolatry of Kings in our last presentation of this commentary on the Wisdom of Solomon, it is evident that two such types of idolatry were described: the decrees of kings which forced men to worship certain idols, and the depravity of men who would worship and even encourage others to worship the kings themselves. Encouraging others to worship a king, they seek in turn to flatter the king while making a profit for themselves. So while at first, as we read in verse 16 of Wisdom chapter 14, “graven images were worshipped by the commandments of kings”, later on men “made an express image of a king whom they honoured, to the end that by this their forwardness they might flatter him that was absent, as if he were present”, and through this process “the singular diligence of the artificer did help to set forward the ignorant to more superstition.”

The former mode of idolatry was described as being compulsory, and the later as being voluntary. But if we consider this further, even the compulsory form of such idolatry, whereby a king issues religious decrees, is only possible through the voluntary actions of men. A king cannot rule over any city or any nation unless a certain number of the population have willingly accepted that rule, and then assist in compelling others to accept it even when those others would otherwise refuse, using force on behalf of the man who would be king. Even kings are installed by dominant political parties, the word party actually being a euphemism for gang. So in rather simple language, Solomon is actually describing one aspect of how it is that the wicked come to rule over the righteous, and how they fulfill their endeavor where they had stated, as it was described in Wisdom chapter 2, “11 Let our strength be the law of justice: for that which is feeble is found to be nothing worth.”

The Greatest Story Never Told

The truth about the nature and character of National Socialist Germany in the years before the Second World War is of course in importance to the truth about the nature and character of Yahshua, or Jesus, Christ.

But while the true story of Yahshua Christ has been told in our Scriptures, even where modern denominational churches do not entirely believe it, the truth behind the most significant event in the formation of the modern, or so-called "post-Christian" world has not been told.

So one monumental work which makes an earnest attempt to tell that story, The Greatest Story Never Told is in our opinion the best biographical video documentary on Adolf Hitler ever produced.

When Dennis Wise first created it, he gave it away freely in Social Media while he also sold DVD copies at his own website. However they have not been available for several years and the movie has been banned from all popular Social Media platforms on multiple occasions.

So for the last few years we hosted several copies of this video at Christogenea because to Dennis, it was more important to keep the video available than it was to worry about money.

Now the video is available on DVD once again, and our friend Dennis Wise needs our support. Please consider purchasing a copy of this video in a four-disc boxed set from Money Tree Publishing.

Here we shall continue to discuss particular passages in the epistles of Paul where certain terms are mistranslated or misunderstood, and adversely affect the interpretation of the Scriptures throughout the New Testament. As we have already explained, because of the nature and purpose of Paul’s epistles there are many more of these than there are in all of the other New Testament writings. Once again, while there are many more mistranslations in Paul than what we shall present here, we will only focus on those which concern nation, race and the scope and purpose of the Gospel.

45 continued) Specific NT Verse misteachings, mistranslations or corruptions in the epistles of Paul

When we discussed words which were generally mistranslated or misinterpreted throughout the Gospels or New Testament as a whole, there were a few that we did not list immediately, probably because they are not an issue until we get to the epistles of Paul or the other apostles. So in our last presentation we discussed the word saint, and here I believe it is necessary to discuss another word, which is anointed, or Christ where it refers to Yahshua, as the word χριστός is an adjective and it does not always refer to Christ even where it appears in Scripture. There is actually a 3,300-word essay explaining this at Christogenea, however I will attempt a summary here, as it is important to understanding passages in Galatians and elsewhere in Paul’s epistles.

On the Wisdom of Solomon, Part 22: The Idolatry of Kings

On the Wisdom of Solomon, Part 22: The Idolatry of Kings

As the ancient children of Israel had conquered the land of Canaan, as it is described throughout Scripture they themselves had eventually strayed and had begun to adopt the ways of those whom they had conquered. So Solomon, explaining this phenomenon which we considered one of the important Lessons from History when we discussed Wisdom chapter 12, had begun to describe for his readers the Patterns of Idolatry, which in turn have led to the Adulation of Men. But in ancient times the adulation of men then led to the worship of kings, and men would ultimately be compelled to accept the idolatry of kings.

Earlier in Wisdom, in chapter 2, Solomon had illustrated for us a Portrait of the Wicked whereby he described the desires of wicked men who would oppress the righteous and make themselves the law, as they are portrayed as have exclaimed “Let our strength be the law of justice: for that which is feeble is found to be nothing worth.” In making themselves the law and oppressing the righteous, it seems that the next natural step in the development of tyranny is to acquire control of the minds of the people so that the tyrants can continue to rule over their lives.

Believing what one chooses to believe is a privilege of modern Liberalism. In ancient times, throughout much of history, men often had no choice in what they professed to believe, even if they thought otherwise. So Paul and Silas were in Philippi in Macedonia when they upset some pagans, who, as it is recorded in Acts chapter 16, had seized them “20 And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Judaeans, do exceedingly trouble our city, 21 And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans. 22 And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. 23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely.” Being Romans, the men were required to believe a certain religion and to live by it. In that manner the aristocracy and priesthood of ancient Rome held its grip on the functioning of the greater society.

There are many more of these in Paul’s epistles than there are in all of the other New Testament writings, and certainly because of the nature and purpose of the epistles themselves. Once again, while there are many more mistranslations in Paul than what we shall present here, we will only focus on those which concern nation, race and the scope and purpose of the Gospel.

First Epistle to the Corinthians

Here I think we should further discuss the word saint, as this word is as poorly understood as Gentile or Jew. Paul addressed his epistle to the Romans “7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.” There, in the King James Version, we see the words “to be” are added in italics, and that means they are not in the original text. The translators made a lie when they added those words, because Paul never used saint in such a context, that someone could somehow become a saint.

The Will to Secede, with Dr. Michael Hill of the League of the South

It has been not quite two months since we had our good friend, League of the South President Dr. Michael Hill here with us to discuss The Current Crisis. Of course, that crisis is upon us, and now that we have had our first look at what is coming with the Biden administration and the accompanying Democratic majority in Congress, we are happy to have him back with us once again, this time to talk about the will to secede. The will to secede is the only way that we can express our natural right and our will to self-determination. But more importantly, abandoning the empire is the only way we can focus our attention on what is truly important, which is our own kith and kin, the survival of our own people.

What follows are my notes and discussions, not all of which I had an opportunity to present in the presentation, but that was also planned:

There have been twenty-four Executive Orders issued by Biden and published at the website for the Federal Register as of January 28th, 2021. Ten of these are directly related to the false Covid-19 pandemic, and a few are indirectly related. Information from the Federal Register or other sources is quoted in italics. Otherwise the comments are the opinion of William Finck

It is the policy of my Administration to use available tools to confront the urgent challenges facing the Nation, including the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID–19) pandemic, economic recovery, racial justice, and climate change. To tackle these challenges effectively, executive departments and agencies (agencies) must be equipped with the flexibility to use robust regulatory action to address national priorities. This order revokes harmful policies and directives that threaten to frustrate the Federal Government’s ability to confront these problems, and empowers agencies to use appropriate regulatory tools to achieve these goals.”

In the last few presentations in this series we have been discussing particular passages in the New Testament where certain terms are mistranslated or misunderstood, which also adversely affect the interpretation of the Scriptures throughout the New Testament. Now we have finally reached the epistles of Paul, where more such mistranslations or poor interpretations are found than in any other books of the New Testament. Many of these had to even be purposeful, as they are quite blatant. There are actually many more mistranslations in Paul than what we will present here, where we will only focus on those which concern nation, race and the scope and purpose of the Gospel.

45) Specific NT Verse misteachings, mistranslations or corruptions in the epistles of Paul

Epistle to the Romans

Romans 2:9-10: “9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.”

First, that term Jew should be Judaean, as it should be throughout all of the New Testament, and Judaea was a Roman province consisting of various races of people, but in Paul’s writing we should interpret it to refer to Israelite Judaeans, as later in Romans chapter 9 he explains that the covenants and promises are only for Israel, as opposed to the Edomites in Judaea.

But here we want to focus on the phrases “and also of the Gentile” and “and also to the Gentile” in these verses. In this passage, and also in Romans 3:9, 1 Corinthians 10:32 and 12:13, and twice in John 7:35, the King James Version translated Ἕλλην (1672), which is the Greek word for Greek, as gentile instead of Greek. This is quite dishonest, since Paul consistently used the Greek word ἔθνος to refer to the nations, and the King James Version frequently translated ἔθνος as gentile – or sometimes heathen or nation – everywhere else it appears. But Ἕλλην is a specific word meaning Greek, and nothing else. Therefore here in this passage, the scope of Paul’s statements was Judaeans and Greeks, and nobody else.

On the Wisdom of Solomon, Part 21: The Adulation of Men

Ostensibly, the first sin in the Garden of Eden was caused by the admiration of a man. As we read in chapter 2 of the Wisdom of Solomon: “24 Nevertheless through envy of the devil came death into the world: and they that do hold of his side do find it.” Today, most supposed Christians continue to adore or worship men, many of whom are devils, through professional sports, entertainment and other media. They may imagine that they are only being entertained, but they are actually also engaged in adoring and idolizing their entertainers. Then they adapt themselves to the moral, religious and political values of those same entertainers, because they want to be like them. But the result is that they are no better off than the sinners who had submitted themselves to the ancient priests of Baal, and according to Tertullian and other ancient authorities, the people had even worshipped the genitals of the priests. That may be graphic, but that is the truth of antiquity, and it is an underlying truth in the allure of Hollywood.

In a different manner, adherents to Roman Catholicism or Eastern Orthodoxy have also always worshipped men, by bowing themselves before icons and making prayers to presumed saints. But in reality, if you can worship dead men, what is it to worship men who are living? The churches call it veneration rather than worship, and they call the dead saints intercessors rather than gods. But it is all the same, that to bow or kneel before a dead effigy and beg some favor is to worship something dead, something that cannot even help itself. That is the core of what Solomon describes here as the beginning of idolatry.

TruthVid's 100 Proofs that the Israelites were White, Part 24

In the last few presentations in this series we have been discussing particular passages in the New Testament where certain terms are mistranslated or misunderstood, which also adversely affect the interpretation of the Scriptures throughout the New Testament. While we cannot discuss every error of interpretation, we have endeavored to address the passages which would change one’s view of Scripture, and potentially one’s entire worldview, once they are translated properly and understood correctly within the context of the entire Scripture. With these interpretations which we uphold to be correct, all of the seeming conflicts and inconsistencies within Scripture vanish, God is no longer the hypocrite which the denominational churches make Him out to be, and we can know that God is true. So now, continuing with Proof 44, we are in the midst of the Gospel of Luke, as we had left off with the parable of the unrighteous steward in chapter 16.

44) continued: Specific NT Verse misteachings, mistranslations or corruptions in Matthew, Mark and Luke

In the parable of the unrighteous steward in Luke chapter 16 we saw that Yahshua Christ was actually contrasting men of different races, and He used the term for race, which is γενεά, in order to make that comparison. Those two races were descibed in an allegory as the “sons of light” and the “sons of this age”, or world. The wicked steward was praised by his master for his wickedness, because he acted as one may expect of a man of a wicked race. The parable is a lesson in human nature, that one’s nature and the resulting actions are inherent and cannot be changed for the better if one is a devil or a bastard in the first place. But now, in Luke chapter 17, we shall see that the Greeks viewed race even more narrowly than we are accustomed to perceive race today.

After many discussions this past week in the Christogenea forums and chats, I thought that perhaps it is an appropriate time to present:

The Day The Word Became Flesh, a review of a paper by Clifton Emahiser

Countless men have attempted to understand the Genesis account of Creation, which begins with a statement that “God created the heaven and the earth”, and then the first actual utterance ascribed to God is “Let there be light”, before it goes on to describe His actual creation of the heaven and preparation of the earth for habitation. Several verses after the proclamation “let there be light”, we see the sun, moon and stars were created, which are the only sources of light perceived by man, other than earthly sources such as fire or man-made light. Therefore, from the Genesis account alone, we cannot know what that light of Genesis 1:3 is, where God had said “let there be light”, and where He first distinguished day and night, even before the sun, moon and stars were created.

But these are certainly not contradictions in the Genesis account, and in spite of the fact that many fundamentalists of the past have insisted that the Creation account is absolutely literal and even “scientific”, it should rather be apparent to Christians that the events of Creation were explained in a manner by which the full meaning and truth of at least some of its statements would not become apparent until the revelation of the Gospel of Christ. Neither is the Creation account complete, as it does not describe the creation of things which are not regularly manifest on the earth, such as wicked spirits or angels, whether they be good or evil. As it is expressed in Matthew chapter 13, since Christ came to reveal things kept secret from the foundation of the world, the entire account of creation was certainly not included in Genesis, or things could not have been kept secret.

This is Not White Supremacy, It is God Supremacy

Our Christian Identity profession is a belief in the supremacy of God and His Truth. I hope y’all have some time. Every once in awhile I am motivated to write a presentation introducing and explaining our Christian Identity beliefs, and this is it for 2020, but it is not going to be brief. This presentation includes a review of an essay by Clifton Emahiser titled When Will All of Israel be Awakened to Their Identity?

Four thousand years ago, Yahweh the God of Israel, the God of the Christian Old Testament as well as the New Testament, had called the Biblical patriarch Abraham out of the wider Adamic world, the entirety of which had wandered off into paganism and had begun to accept or develop many practices which are, for the most part, still considered abominations, or at least, have until recently been considered as objectionable, by White society unto this very day.

But because Abraham believed God, as we read in Genesis chapter 17, “3… God talked with him, saying, 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.” Similar promises were given to Abraham, which were without condition, and were ultimately inherited by the patriarch Jacob, whose name was then changed to Israel.

Christian Identity: What Difference Does it Make?

It is no mistake that 2000 years ago, Christianity spread and was accepted by tribes of White Europeans as they encountered it. It is no mistake that for the last 1500 years Europe has been predominantly Christian. Christianity had spread not only to both Greece and Rome, but also to Britain and other points in Europe as early as the middle of the first century. Tribes in Gaul were converting to Christianity in the second century. By the third century, if not sooner, Germanic tribes of the Goths and Alans had accepted Christianity. All of this was long before the official acceptance of Christianity began with Constantine the Great, the Edict of Toleration and the Council of Nicaea.

To mock Christianity today is to mock a hundred generations of our ancestors. People who mock Christianity think they know something better about our past than their own ancestors, the people who actually lived in those times many centuries ago. The truth is that the people who mock Christianity know little-to-nothing about the world of the past and the circumstances under which their ancestors ultimately accepted Christianity.

There are many incongruities in the perception of the people who mock Christianity today. On one hand they claim that it is a “cuck” religion, and on the other they complain that their ancestors were forced into Christianity by Christians. So they admit that their own ancestors were weaker than the “cucks” they despise. On one hand they claim that Christianity is an effeminate religion, and a Jewish religion, but then they complain that their ancestors were forced into it by Christians. So they admit that their ancestors were weaker than effeminates and Jews. All the while, they proclaim the “might is right” mantra of their own neo-paganism, while professing that their weak ancestors, forced to subject to Christianity, were somehow treated unfairly! Those who mock Christianity are simply too stupid to realize all of these cognitive disconnects, and there are many more that we won’t get into here. We already presented them here a few years ago, in two podcasts titled White Nationalist Cognitive Dissonance.

The Farmer and the Stork, from Aesop's Fables

A FARMER placed nets on his newly-sown plowlands and caught a number of Cranes, which came to pick up his seed. With them he trapped a Stork that had fractured his leg in the net and was earnestly beseeching the Farmer to spare his life. "Pray save me, Master," he said, "and let me go free this once. My broken limb should excite your pity. Besides, I am no Crane, I am a Stork, a bird of excellent character; and see how I love and slave for my father and mother. Look too, at my feathers-they are not the least like those of a Crane." The Farmer laughed aloud and said, "It may be all as you say, I only know this: I have taken you with these robbers, the Cranes, and you must die in their company."

Your fate may be the same as that of the company you keep.

The proof is in a history which few now know, because Classical literature is irrelevant to modern churchmen, and the Bible is alien to classicists. Interpretations of archaeological discovery are seen through a Jewish worldview, and that worldview is also based on falsehoods. But when we come to love the truth of our God, we can no longer be blinded by the satanic Jews.

Left: A page from the July 8th, 1963 issue of The August Courier picturing King and others listening to a lecture at the Highlander Folk School in Monteagle, Tennessee, in 1957.
