The Lying Guide, 1

Meet Matthew Ifill, whom we think is the world's most inaccurate tour guide. He is not only inaccurate about American history, he fabricates it! We had hoped to get a recording of Mr. Ifill, however on June 14th 2011 when we returned to Philadelphia, he was working a ticket counter and another guide was giving the tours of Independence Hall.

Among Mr. Ifill's gems were that the colony of Pennsylvania was founded for religious freedoms for "Jews, Christians and Muslims", which is an outright lie, and the invention of a war between Pennsylvania and Connecticut precipitating the need for the Constitution to replace the Articles of Confederation.
