Although it is spelled Salomon in the Septuagint Greek, we certainly believe that this book was written by Solomon the King, as it claims to be in chapters 7 and 9, and that it belongs alongside his three other great works, Proverbs, the poorly-understood Ecclesiastes, and the even more poorly-understood Song of Songs in our English Bibles.
