Greek New Testament Index
This is supposed to be the NA27 Greek text in Unicode (the Calibri font, according to MS-Word). I have read some of it already, but it will be quite some time before I am satisfied that it is accurate. I found it on a website at www.sacred-texts.com and so I thank them. All I had to do was cut and paste!
There are some verses missing here and there, and I will examine them as I get time. It is evident that some of them do not belong to the original text, and for that reason were they left out. So they probably correspond in some degree with the spurious verses which have been left out of the Christogenea New Testament. There are also a few quirks here, such as underscores in the text, which I must look at. All in due time! William Finck
PS: For the new Christogenea 3.0 website (activated 12/3/2024) I removed the spurious verses from John 7:53 through 8:11.
Below there are download links for PDF versions of the 27th edition of the Nestle Aland Novum Testamentum Graece, or Greek New Testament, which is the primary resource used to create the translation found in the Christogenea New Testament.
Since optical character recognition is not always perfect, the facsimile and text versions may differ in places, so for curious or casual readers, the facsimile version is the more accurate and therefore the better. But for serious Bible students who may want to copy out words or passages for investigation, both versions would be helpful.
