Addressing “King James Only” Christians (Click here for a 1611 King James Version facsimile)

Recently, during our visit to some Christian Identity brethren in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, I was introduced to a man from Missouri who considers himself an Identity Christian and a pastor. He and some others actually sat in the room with me and listened to one of my presentations of Bertrand Comparet's sermons.

We had a long discussion after that program was completed. But I quickly found out that this man, who I do esteem to be a sincere Identity Christian, did not like anything of what I had said about the King James Version translation of the Bible. In fact, he refused to acknowledge that the King James Version could be amended or improved upon in any way. He insisted that talking about the Scripture, “we need a sold foundation”, as he called it, and that the King James Version was the only solid foundation inspired by God.

Is it really true, that the King James Version is the only Scripture inspired by God, and is it true that it was inspired by God? In Psalm 147:19 we read that God “... sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.” Therefore there must have been Holy Scriptures before 1611, that Israelites could understand. In Acts chapter 17 we see the account of the men of Berea, who hearing Paul and Silas had “received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Therefore there must have been Holy Scriptures before 1611, that the Greek and Judaean men of Berea could understand.

Since we are still on the road we are going to present another paper by Bertrand Comparet, along with some hopefully constructive criticism. We are doing this with the hope of putting Comparet's sermons in perspective. Over the years, we have had many critics who have expressed chagrin for many of the things we have said about Bertrand Comparet, or Wesley Swift and others, and that is quite unfortunate. We can appreciate our teachers, as we should. But we should not put them on pedestals. Rather, we must build on their work, and offer corrections when it is needed. So when we offer criticism of Bertrand Comparet, it should certainly not be seen as a condemnation of a good man. Rather, we must move forward from where he and others have left us, and continue to develop a better Christian Identity understanding, through further study of the Scriptures along with history and archaeology. Comparet helped to point the way, but he alone is certainly not the destination.

Last week, we presented a critical review of Bertrand Comparet's sermon Israel's Fingerprints. After doing so, this week we listened to a little more of Comparet's original recording. Disappointingly, we have found that apparently Jeanne Snyder had left out a portion of Comparet's words when she transcribed the sermon, or we may have been a little more critical of Comparet than we were. I do not know why Jeanne did that, and since she passed on in 2008 I may never know. But I do know that she had always seemed to be sincere and sought to defend Comparet and help protect his legacy. We can only be left guessing. Perhaps realizing that some of his comments on prophecy were not entirely accurate, she having had the benefit of maybe twenty additional years of hindsight, simply omitted some of his comments. For my part, I would rather she had transcribed all of Comparet's original words.

Once again we are going to make a presentation from the sermons of Bertrand Comparet, and hope to offer both constructive criticism and also some clarification and edification of Comparet's work wherever we can. Doing this, we will also present the critical notes of Clifton Emahiser from his own publication of Comparet's work. These sermons were originally digitized by Jeanne Snyder, and then again by Clifton where he was compelled to offer several of his own remarks as appendices.

We have chosen to undertake this endeavor for two reasons. First, we as Identity Christians praise Yahweh our God with much gratitude for men like Bertrand Comparet, who helped to lead us to Christian Identity truth, and upon whose shoulders we stand. On the other hand, no man being perfect, we can honor our teachers but we cannot worship them. We do not see any man as infallible, and we put no man upon a pedestal. When a man cannot be criticized, when a man cannot be wrong, that is idolatry and not Christianity. All men being fallible, it is our obligation to test the work of our teachers, and, when we can, to correct, improve and build upon that work in order to bring this truth which we have ever closer to its perfection. We being men can not actually expect to achieve that perfection ourselves, but in our endeavors to do so we can improve and build upon what we have, while also hoping to correct the mistakes of those before us as well as our own.

With this in mind, any criticism we offer is not to tear down the work of our predecessors. Rather, it is to build upon and improve that work, so that our Identity understanding of the Gospel of Christ is found to be without reproach. As Paul of Tarsus said in Ephesians, by the washing of the water of the Word of God the assembly of Christ may be found holy and without blemish.

Is our planet Earth flat? Probably not. But in any case, certain of the flat-earthers are lying about many things. Should Identity Christians care if the Earth is flat? Probably not. And no matter what you may think, the original language of the Bible does not insist that it is. Identity Christians should keep themselves above and away from all of the fringe conspiracy theories that discredit our cause, distract us from what we should be doing, and drive people away from our core message, which is indeed true.

And if the earth is flat, will the Jews stop flooding Christendom with niggers? Certainly not. If the earth is flat, will the usury-based banking system fall? Certainly not yet. If the earth is flat, will the yellow and brown vermin infecting and overrunning our society disappear? No, they will not disappear until the true children of Israel repent of their sins and turn back to Yahweh their God. That will not be accomplished through a flat-earth idol.

Christogenea Saturdays, August 1st, 2015: True Christian Communion

Earlier this summer, on our recent five-week trip, we were invited to give an opinion of Christian Communion at a Wednesday Bible Study. Some members of a certain church which is dear to us had a long-standing division over the practice of communion as it is traditionally conducted in denominational churches, and whether it should be continued, and how it should be continued, in a true Christian church. I spent nearly an hour giving my opinion on the matter, and this presentation will be based on the outline notes which I had made for that reason.

We all (and when I say we I mean Identity Christians) have backgrounds in one denomination or another, one mainstream belief system or another which, upon discovering our Christian Identity, we now understand to have been based on false paradigms when compared to Scripture and history. But we also all have some degree of what I can really only describe as baggage. While after we have come to the Truth we usually realize that we must cast away much of what we upheld in our former walk, there are almost always some things which we maintain to which we have some emotional tie, things which made us feel good, and which we want to hold onto. Sometimes we simply take it for granted that we are supposed to be doing those things, which are supported by vague understandings of certain Scriptures, and so we insist that we keep doing them. But these are often traditions of men, or even Old Testament rituals that we have not let go of, and which are obscure to us because of the translations which have been made by the professional priests and because of the language and even the cultural barriers between us and the original texts. The truth is, that if we have baggage, then we have not come to the Truth with a clean slate. Often we fail to clean the slate out of our own ignorance, and often we fail to clean the slate out of our own desires to maintain our traditions simply because there are things which we like and we have always done them, so we insist on continuing them. Tonight we are going to take issue with some of the modern “traditions of men”, in comparison with scripture.

Unity and Divisions

This presentation is really a compendium of things I have presented over the past several years. If one has read or heard my commentaries on the minor prophets, and the recently completed Romans exegesis, all of these things will be familiar, while I hope to have added a new perspective or two. This is because the grounds for Christian communion do not change, and the lines where Christian unity and divisions are drawn should indeed be very clear. Yet I find many Identity Christians who do not understand them, so I continually reiterate these same messages, and in as many ways as I can.

One of the biggest challenges which I have faced in my work is getting people to actually believe that all Israel (true Israel being our White Christian nations) shall be saved – in spite of the fact that Paul of Tarsus stated as much explicitly in his epistle to the Romans, and in spite of the fact that the prophets of Yahweh our God also stated as much. All Christians for two thousand years have suffered from a burden of doubt that was not taught by the original apostles, and that was not taught by the prophets of God. Peter said “you are a chosen race”, and not “you are a race that might be chosen”.

Pastor Mark Downey explains that the mantras of White Genocide are actually a curse to Whites, because Whites have a promise that there will never be such a thing. The cries of White Genocide actually instill in Whites a victim mentality which demotes them to the status of the lesser races. What is White in a World of Bastards

Identity Christians should accept anyone who is apparently White, identifies as White, and who accepts the Gospel of Christ as being White. But it takes a greater-than-average knowledge of history and Scripture to accept Christian Identity, so we cannot expect all Whites who first hear it to do so, and some will never do so. Therefore. Identity Christians should accept as White anyone who, not having an Identity Christian understanding of Scripture, is apparently White and identifies as White so long as they do not openly oppose our message.

Because these lines can be so complicated in today's world with all of its various competing philosophies, then for the purpose of the problems which we are trying to address here we should define our expectations from our fellow Whites, whether they profess to be Christian or not, in the simplest terms possible.

Spread the Message! Identity Christians should seek to help spread the Gospel of the Kingdom throughout the course of every day. We were supposed to have Open Lines tonight, but even with a plethora of listeners, there were no callers. Brother Ryan made the final half hour of the program, and continued the discussion for us.

The mainstream Judaized Christians love to look back into the Old Testament for Messianic prophecies, those which have to do with the Advent of Christ on earth, and use those as proof and assurance of their Christian faith. But aside from a few other favorite stories, they do not pay much attention to the rest of the Old Testament.

However the same Old Testament which spoke about Jesus also recorded many other promises made to the ancient patriarchs of Israel. Jesus said, as it is recorded in John chapter 5, “46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?”

The same Moses who wrote of Christ also wrote this of Abraham, recorded in Genesis chapter 17: “3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.”
